SEAMOR Marine ‘CHINOOK’ ROV SYSTEM

The Chinook is an industrial grade inspection ROV with a wide range of capabilities. Explore depths up to 300 m (1,000′). A true workhorse, the Chinook offers a stable platform yet remains compact. With its small profile, the Chinook can operate in tight places and is easily stowed when not in use. Multiple handles and frame cross members allow two people to handle this ROV with ease. For greater versatility, customize your Chinook by adding accessories such as extra thrusters, navigational searching aids, manipulators, tool skids and more.

SEAMOR Marine ‘STEELHEAD’ ROV SYSTEM

The Steelhead inspection-class ROV is a portable, lightweight and stable underwater system that is easily operated through intuitive flight controls. Its small profile allows this vehicle to inspect confined spaces and be easily stowed. The compact Steelhead is easily deployed and recovered from small vessels and docks – no need for hoists or cranes. A standard definition NTSC/PAL camera, optimized for lowlight conditions provides the ROV operator with quality video. “Out of the box” features include an integrated controller and LCD monitor module with auto depth, auto heading, a digital video recorder and much more.

852-GS GYRO STABILIZED ULTRA-MINIATURE IMAGING SONAR

The Imagenex Model 852-GS was designed for use with the smallest of ROV’s and inspection vehicles. Gyro-stabilization is integrated directly into the sonar head, so the sonar is no longer compromised by the blurring effects of host vehicle rotation.

Connect the optional echo sounder to the sonar and straight to the surface.

Serial communication is utilized, RS-485 at 115.2 kbps. This unit will scan 360° with a maximum range of 50 meters.

965A Multibeam Imaging Sonar

The Imagenex Model 965A 1.1 MHz is an advanced, high-speed, high-resolution, multibeam imaging sonar system that has been designed to provide simple, reliable, and accurate representation of underwater images.

The system consists of an underwater sonar head connected by Ethernet to a Windows™ based computer.

MicronNav – USBL Tracking System

The MicronNav system is an innovative USBL tracking system designed for small ROV / AUV. It has been primarily designed to be used in conjunction with the Tritech Micron sonar and other Tritech Micron products.

The system comprises of a subsea MicronNav unit, a surface USBL transducer unit with integral Magnetic Compass and Pitch / Roll sensors, a surface Micron Nav 100 interface module and operating software under control of the customer host PC / Laptop.

DyeTection – Subsea leak and dye detection systems

Building on our many years of experience detecting subsea dyes, we have developed a new range of advanced DyeTection systems for dye, leak and cement detection, comprising:

  • L5 BlackLight, a “black light” replacement flood lamp for large leaks
  • D3 DyeLighter, a compact and high performance fluorescent dye light suited to small ROVs
  • D5 DyeLighter, a professional higher intensity dye excitation light for WCROVs or smaller leaks
  • D7 DyeTector, an advanced ROV mounted subsea dye detection system for the smallest leaks

Also currently in development:

  • D9 DyeTector, a self-contained diver held dye detector with integral display

DyeTection systems may be used to detect leaks from underwater infrastructure such as manifolds, wellheads or pipelines if a suitable dye has been added to the infrastructure fluids. They may also be used during casing cementing operations to detect cement returns if a tracer dye is added to either the seawater spacer or to the cement itself.
